Ten EASY Steps To Get Your School Moving


This site is loaded with tools from the NBA to help you get your student body fit by finals.

  1. Hang Get Fit By Finals posters and banners in high-traffic zones: the carfeteria, gym and school entryways*
  2. Post Get Fit By Finals flyers on notice boards and pass them to faculty: teachers, atheletic directors, P.E. teachers and coaches
  3. Play the PA announcements featuring Chris Paul and Diana Taurasi over your PA system to help you rally students to Get Fity By Finals
  4. Show the fitness video in class or post it to your school Web site
  5. Use the nutrition and fitness handouts, authored by Orlando Magic sports dietitiian Tara Gidus and New York Knicks strength and conditioning coach Greg Brittenham, as part of your lesson plan
  6. Post "Daily Drills" on your school message board or Web site or read them over your PA system each day to keep students motivated - follow the dates next to each drill to stay in sync with tips students will see each day on bodybymilk.com
  7. Assign a Get Fit By Finals classroom activity -- encourage your students to drink 3 glasses of lowfat milk and engage in 60 minutes of exercise each day for one week and journal their progress.
